Sticker Information Frequently Asked Questions Stephens County Government

 

 

Sec. 62-245 (g) of Stephens County Code:
All recyclable materials brought to collection centers will be accepted free of charge, provided it is separated by resident under current market specifications and likewise uncontaminated.

 

Existing Recyclables Market:
with uncontaminated container requirements
Plastic Bottles Rinsed out with caps removed
Glass Rinsed out with caps removed
Tin cans Rinsed out
Aluminum Cans Rinsed out
Newspapers and
Magazines
Do not place plastic grocery bags
in newspaper recycle bin
Cardboard broken down flat

 

Site attendant will assist citizens in appropriate separation
of recyclables if necessary.

No person shall deposit, in a recycling container, any material
other than that for which the recycling container is labeled to receive.

It's okay to leave paper labels on Plastic containers, Tin cans,
and Glass containers.

Note: County Farm, White Pines, and Wolf Pit are the only Convenience
Sites that have Cardboard Recycling bins available.
